SA8000 Certification

It is the most effective recognition of an organization for ethical conduct and social responsibility management capacity.
SAI, Social Accountability International organization, is a non-governmental, multi-stakeholder organization whose mission is to promote the human rights of workers around the world. Its partners are to respect workers' human rights and to eliminate sweatshops by promoting ethical working conditions, labor rights, corporate social responsibility and social dialogue.
The SA8000 standard is the central document of our work at SAI. It is one of the world's first auditable social certification standards for decent workplaces, across all industrial sectors. It is based on conventions of the ILO, UN and national laws. The SA8000 standard spans industry and corporate codes to create a common language for measuring social compliance

Functions of SA8000 certification:
1、To strengthen the establishment of policy and procedure in the organization; to effectively manage corporate social responsibility within the scope of the control or influence; to improve the relationship between employers and employees.
2、To prove the organization's policies, procedures and operational measures to comply with the provisions of the SA8000 standard.

SA8000 certification process:
1、Submit application form
2、Review application form and make arrangements
3、Sign service contact
4、Document review
5、On-site audit
6、Submit audit report and make conclusion
7、Technical committees review
8、Issuance of certificate (With 3 years valid period, need to apply for re-cert after 3 years)
9、Surveillance audit (once every six months)
